Decree No. 71 of 2007 (IV. 14.) Korm. of the Government concerning woody energy plantations.

This Decree provides rules regarding planting and elimination of woody energy plantations. The competent authority for this matter is the county level governmental office of forestry. These plantations can be composed of tree species determined in a separate decree and its area shall be more than 1500sqm. Planting of woody energy plantations is subject to authorization. Planting or elimination of plantations must be notified to the competent authority which may carry out controls on the spot.
