Abstract
This Decree regulates the duties and activity of the National Consumer Protection Office, which carries out its duties under the supervision of the minister in charge of consumer protection issues and it is a central govermental institution, led by a director general. It has territorial branches within the governmental offices. The National Consumer Protection Office operates the Food and Chemical Industry Laboratory.
