Abstract
The Hungarian Mining and Geological Office is an economically independent central administrative authority, led by its president. The Office is based in Budapest and have six territorial offices, listed in Annex 1. The Government appoints the Office as Mining Authority and as the organ carrying out state duties related to geology. This Decree determines the jurisdiction and tasks of the Office.
