Law CLXIII of 2020 on viticulture and wine making.

This Law, in order to promote the transparent and sustainable operation of the grape and wine sector, and to lay the foundation for its development, here prescribes the general rules concerning the viticulture and wine making.
The Law is divided into eleven main thematic Chapters and a total of 26 articles. Titles of these Chapters are as follows: 1. Interpretive provisions; 2. Viticulture; 3. Wine product production, packaging and storage; 4. Placing wine products on the market; 5. Geographical indications and traditional expressions; 6. Rights of the mountain community organization managing the geographical indication; 7. Special rules for the Tokaj wine region; 8. The e-book registration system; 9. The economic file; 10. Conduct of inspections and legal consequences; 11. Final provisions.
