Abstract
This Law determines that the public health (especially environmental and settlement, water for human use, food and nutrition, child and youth, radiation health, chemical safety), epidemiology, health promotion (health protection, health education and health preservation), the management, coordination and supervision of health administration activities, as well as the supervision of health care is a state task performed by the state health administration body. The state health administration body exercises the necessary supervision over the country's public health-epidemiological conditions.
Environmental and municipal health responsibility of the state health administration body is further defined in this text-includes issues on necessary contributing to the development of health limit values for chemical and biological air pollution (emissions), regular public health assessment of chemical and biological air pollution, and development of air pollution limit values for closed spaces; public health examination of air pollution in closed spaces; public health requirements for surface water for human use (holiday, bathing, water sports, drinking water extraction) and swimming pool baths, as well as working out the hygiene limit values for drinking water and water used for bathing; regular monitoring of the public health requirements for surface water and swimming pools for human use (holiday, bathing, water sports, drinking water extraction), as well as the quality of drinking water, mineral and medicinal waters, and bottled water, as well as the observance and enforcement of public health requirements; working out public health requirements and standards related to soil, waste, wastewater and sewage sludge belonging to public services, as well as hazardous waste; control of the enforcement of public health requirements and standards related to soil, waste, wastewater and sewage sludge belonging to public services, as well as hazardous waste; working out the noise and vibration limit values valid in interior spaces, as well as the environmental emissions of noise and vibration limit values; checking the noise and vibration limit values valid in the interior spaces, as well as contributing to the control of environmental emissions of noise and vibration limit values; working out the public health requirements of educational, educational and caring institutions and activities; enforcing the public health requirements of educational, educational and caring institutions and activities; establishment of climate health measures; taking climate health measures, operating the national heat warning system; working out the public health and health protection requirements for the planning, construction and operation of buildings; control of the implementation of public health and health protection requirements for the design, construction and operation of buildings; working out professional rules aimed at reducing the health risks of non-health activities involving health risks; verification of the enforcement of professional rules aimed at reducing the health risks of non-health activities involving health risks; drawing up regulations aimed at reducing and preventing the risk of infection caused by environmental pathogens; control of the enforcement of regulations aimed at reducing and preventing the risk of infection caused by environmental pathogens.
