Decree of the Minister of Manpower Number 175 of 2024 concerning Determination of Indonesian National Work Competency Standards for the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Categories, in the Field of Management of Utilisation of Eel Fish Species.

This Ministerial Decree, in order to implement the provisions of Article 31 of the Regulation of the Minister of Manpower Number 3 of 2016 concerning procedures for determining Indonesian national work competency standards, determines Indonesian national work competency standards in the field of management and utilisation of eel fish species. The Decree establishes that national qualification levels are determined by the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries and relate agencies in accordance with their respective duties and functions. The main purpose of the definition of standards and procedures aims at managing the utilisation of eel species for cultivation and processing; further purposes concern: research in the field of fisheries and maritime affairs; business of collecting, transporting, storing, sending and selling eel products; management of aquaculture. The Decree covers the following matters: eel fish and different types of eel; packaging material; fish parts and fish products; food additives; hygiene procedures; quality control and sanitation.
