Abstract
The Regulation rules for the protection of marine quality (Chapter II, Art. 3-8) and the prevention of marine contamination (Chapter III, Art.9-12), marine damage (Chapter IV, Art.13-14), management of marine contamination and/or damage (Chapter V, Art.15). Definitions of marine pollution, standards, liquid and solid waste, prevention and protection and all others which are of interest of the regulation, are listed in Art. 1 , Chapter 1 (General Provisions) Provisions are offered for compliance to sea water quality standards, potential polluting liquid or solid waste or activities causing the dump of possibly polluting substances in the sea, even in an emergency. Every party responsible for marine pollution shall be charged with covering expenses incurred when dealing with management of marine pollution and restoration of marine quality.
