Government Regulation no. 24 of 2021 concerning Procedures for Imposing Administrative Sanctions and Procedures for Non-Tax State Revenue Derived from Administrative Fines in the Forestry Sector.

This Government Regulation, implementing the provisions of articles 37 and 185 letter b of the Law no. 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation, provides for imposition of administrative sanctions and procedures for non-tax State revenue derived from administrative fines in the forestry sector. The Regulation concerns: forest; forest area; protection forest; conservation forest and preservation of plant and animal diversity; business permit; imposition of administrative sanctions; reforestation fund; business permit for business activity in oil palm plantations and other plantation activities; business permit for mining activity inside a forest area; business permit for activities in protected forest areas. Matters covered by this Regulation concern: inventory of data and information on business activities carried out in forest areas without permission in forestry sector; violations committed in forest areas; procedures for settlement of business activities in forest areas; warrants for payment of provisions for forest resources and reforestation funds; procedures for calculation of administrative fines; coercive powers of the government.
