Government Regulation no. 7 of 2021 concerning Facilitation, Protection and Empowerment of Cooperatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

This Regulation, implementing provisions of articles 86,87,88,89,90,91,94,104, and 185 letter b of the Law no. 11 of 2020 concerning job creation, provides for regulating the facilitation, protection and empowerment of cooperatives and micro, small and medium enterprises. The Regulation concerns: business licensing; special allocation fund formation of cooperatives; powers and duties of central and local governments in formation of cooperatives; cooperatives activity in trade and other sectors; compliance with sharia’s religious principles; financing measures; empowerment for cooperatives carrying out activities in the following sectors: trade, agriculture and farming, forest management and protection, maritime affairs and fisheries management, port water transport; increasing human resources capacities through education and training; standard and criteria for classifying micro, small and medium enterprises; integrated management of micro and small business activities; facilitation of intellectual property rights; subsidies and incentives for business activities.
