Abstract
This Government Regulation, implementing the provisions of Article 10 paragraph (3) letter a, Article 11, and Article 12 paragraph (4) of Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management, provides for environmental protection and development planning. The Regulation defines the following relevant terms: environmental protection and management; environmental planning; ecosystem; ecoregion; environmental supporting data; environmental capacity; natural resources; environmental services; environmental organisation. The Regulation specifies the following methods to carry out environmental protection and management: environmental inventory; determination of Ecoregion territory; and preparation of environmental plans.
