Government Regulation (PP) Number 72 of 2010 concerning State Forestry Public Companies.

This Government Regulation provides for increasing duties and responsibilities of public companies in implementing forest management, protection and conservation initiatives, in order to comply with principles of sustainable forest management and good corporate governance, and to support national development and productive businesses. Matters covered by this Regulation include: public forests management; measures for community protection; activities related to forest management, including: irrigation, construction of waterworks, construction of telecommunications networks, water storage equipments, public facilities, construction of clean and wastewater channels; objectives of business activities, including agroforestry development; financial provisions of the business activities; appointment of members of the government agencies for State forests management.
