Law Number 2 of 2025 concerning the Fourth Amendment to Law Number 4 of 2009 concerning Mineral and Coal Mining.

This Law amends the Law no. 4 of 2009 concerning minerals and coal mining, in order to provide an efficient, sustainable, and environmental friendly mining activity, optimise minerals and coal exploration and improve research and investigation activities. Amendments concern: definition of relevant terms, including: mining, minerals, coal, mining business activity, mining licence, transportation and sale permit, feasibility study, community management and empowerment, State-owned enterprises; governmental authority to determine the amount of production, sales, and prices of metallic minerals, certain types of non-metallic minerals, or coal; determination of spatial planning for mining activity; procedure for issuing mining permits; ministerial power to impose administrative sanctions.
