Abstract
This Ministerial Regulation, consisting of eight Chapters and one Annex, regulates the System and Certification requirements to be satisfied in the field of Human Rights in the Fishing Industry. The scope of this regulation includes: fishing rights system; and fishing rights certification. The Regulation aims to ensure respect for human rights in fisheries sector of the parties associated with the fishery business activities, including the crew of fisheries and public interest by preventing human rights violations and/or addressing the human rights violations that have occurred. Chapter II establishes the HAM Fisheries Certification System as follows: Every Entrepreneur in Fisheries sector shall fulfill the human rights system. Fisheries Human Rights System includes: a. Human Rights Policy; b. Human Rights Due Diligence; and c. Restoration of Human Rights. It establishes the implementing human rights system in fisheries sector the executive coordinator Fishery Entrepreneurs fishing rights system. The Annex specifies the HAM Certification System Criteria and Human Rights in Fisheries Industry.
