Presidential Regulation no. 83 of 2024 concerning National Nutrition Agency.

This Presidential Regulation establishes the National Nutrition Agency, in order to: optimise the implementation of national nutritional services; develop quality human resources; ensure safe and adequate levels of nutrition for the population. According to the Regulation, the Agency carries out the following functions: coordination and formulation of Policies in the field of nutritional services; monitoring and supervision of national nutritional targets; improvement of educational services related to nutrition; promotion and cooperation for national nutrition fulfilment. The Regulation establishes the board and the members of the Agency, and specifies their tasks, including inspection services. The Regulation specifies working procedures of each unit of the Agency; appointment and dismissal of officials; financial provisions.
