Regional Regulation of the Special Capital Province of Jakarta No. 1/2004 RE Taxes on the extraction and use of groundwater and surface water.

The present Regional Regulation provides for the application of taxes for the extraction, exploitation and use of surface and groundwater to supply domestic, industrial, mining and agricultural facilities. The levy shall be paid and collected not only to be added to the local treasury but to consent the potential usage of such monies in the ecosystem preservation.
