Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture No. 25 of 2023 concerning Increasing Added Value, Strengthening Competitiveness, and Marketing of Livestock Products.

This Ministerial Regulation, implementing provisions of the Law no. 18 of 2009 concerning animal husbandry and animal health, provides measures for empowering livestock farmers and business actors, making their business easier and improving their earnings. The Regulation defines the following relevant terms: added value of livestock products; marketing of livestock products; investment; livestock business development; post-harvest of livestock products; livestock company; processing of livestock products; livestock food products; livestock non-food products; agricultural products market analysis. Matters covered by this Regulation concern: improving quality of animal products intended for human consumption; measures for improving investment in the livestock business sector; increasing access to financing; business risk mitigation; quality assurance system assessment and monitoring; increasing human resources capacity; identification and fulfilment of consumer preferences.
