Abstract
This Regulation, consisting of 7 Chapters, establishes hygiene and sanitary measures as well as veterinary requirements in order to import carcass, meat, edible offal, and or its processed products into the territory of the State of the Republic of Indonesia. The Regulation, as follow up action to the provision in Law No. 18 of 2009 and to protect human health, provides for hygiene and sanitary procedures regarding the requirements to be met for putting on the market: ruminant livestock carcass, poultry carcass, swine carcass and other animal products specifying import conditions, technical recommendations for human health, etc. The Regulation is divided as follows: General provisions (I); Import requirements and procedures (II); Obligation of holder of recommendation (III); Supervision (IV); Provision on penalty (V); Transitional provisions (VI) and Closing provisions (VII).
