Abstract
This Ministerial Regulation, implementing provisions of article 100 paragraph (3) of the Government Regulation no. 101 of 2014 concerning Management of Hazardous and Toxic Waste, provides for procedures and technical requirements for managing hazardous and toxic waste from health service facilities. The Regulation describes characteristics of hazardous and toxic waste; concerns: control of health problems and environmental pollution; storage of hazardous waste; transportation and processing of hazardous and toxic waste; disposal and burial of hazardous and toxic waste; measures for ensuring personal hygiene; standard procedures for waste processing; procedures for reducing the amount of waste.
