Regulation of the Minister of Marine and Fisheries of the R.I. No. 8/Permen-Kp/2018 on the procedures for Determining the Regional Area of Indigenous People in the use of Spaces within Coastal Areas and Small Islands.

This Ministerial Regulation, consisting of 13 articles divided into four Chapters, is a reference for the establishment of Indigenous Peoples' Management Areas into Zoning Plan of Coastal Areas and Small Islands (RZWP-3-K), National Strategic Area Zoning Plan (RZ KSN), Zoning Plan of Specific National Strategic Areas (RZ KSNT), and Zoning Plan (RZ) between regions. The scope of this Ministerial Regulation includes: a) proposing the Local Governance Areas of Customary Law; and b) process for establishing recognition and protection of Community Customary Law. Chapter II specifies the requirements to Indigenous People's Regional Areas Management. Chapter III lays down the procedures for Recognition and Protection of Indigenous People Community.
