Abstract
These Regulations amend the Air Pollution Act, 1987 (Marketing, Sale and Distribution of Fuels) Regulations, 1998 by: defining additional restrictions regarding the composition and packing of bituminous coal supplied for residential heating; the functions of the Environmental Protection Agency in relation to registration by coal bagging operators and fuel suppliers; and a ban on the marketing, sale and distribution of bituminous fuel to four additional restricted areas.
