Abstract
This Order provides for the control of Salmonellosis in ducks and duck eggs. It requires the owner or person in charge of ducks whose eggs are sold to develop and put in place a programme for the control of salmonella. It also defines duties of relative to testing, sampling, transport, notification, record-keeping and registration and defines offences. Ducks that are affected with Salmonellosis shall be kept separated and such ducks shall not be used for breeding purposes.
