Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (Import Restrictions) (No. 4) Order, 2001 (S.I. No. 118 of 2001).

This Order gives effect to Commission Decision No.2001/172/EC concerning certain protection measures with regard to foot and mouth disease in the United Kingdom. It prescribes restrictions on the import of live animals of the bovine, ovine, caprine or porcine species or other biungulate; from the United Kingdom or in transit through the the United Kingdom and the import of fresh or frozen meat, milk products and other animals products from restricted areas (as defined by the Decision and this Order) of the United Kingdom.
