Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (Import Restrictions) (No. 2) Order, 2001 (S.I. No. 83 of 2001).

This Order gives effect to Commission Decision No. 2001/172/EC concerning certain protection measures with regard to foot and mouth disease in France. It prescribes restrictions on the import of live animals of the bovine, ovine, caprine or porcine species or other biungulate; from France or in transit through France and the import of fresh or frozen meat, milk products and other animals products from restricted areas (as defined by the Decision and this Order) of France or that went through those areas.
