Abstract
A person shall not move an animal by road unless the animal is moved directly from the premises where it is situated to a: (a) slaughterhouse; or (b) place other than a slaughterhouse, except under and in accordance with a licence. A person who moves an animal by road shall have the licence relating to the animal in his or her possession. The Minister may for the purposes of this Order grant a licence or cause a licence to be granted by a person designated by the Minister. The Minister or a person by whom the Minister causes a licence to be granted may grant a licence and attach conditions thereto, or refuse an application for a licence.

No 61 of 2001), are revoked.This Order is in addition to and not in substitution for the Foot and Mouth (Restriction on Movement)(No. 3) Order, 2001 (S.I. No. 62 of 2001), and the Foot and Mouth (Restriction on Movement)(No. 4) Order, 2001 (S.I. No. 63 of 2001).
