Abstract
This Order makes bovine leukosis a notifiable disease and lays down comprehensive measures and procedures for its detection, control and eradication. It also provides for matters relating to the payment of compensation for cattle which are slaughtered as having been affected or suspected of having been affected with bovine leukosis. Article 3 provides for the notification of the disease to veterinaries in the public service. Articles 4 to 12 prescribe measures that public officers may take in order to prevent or reduce occurrence of the disease.
