Abstract
This Order makes the diseases of Rinderpest and Sheep Pox notifiable. Any person who has or has had in his possession or under his charge an animal or carcass which is diseased, within the meaning of this Order, or suspects it to be diseased, and any veterinary surgeon who, by reason of an examination or otherwise, believes or suspects that an animal or carcass is so diseased, shall, with all practicable speed, notify the fact to: (a) the secretary, Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, Dublin 2; or (b) an inspector at a District Veterinary Office of the Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry.
