Abstract
This Order prescribes that the master or person in charge of a vehicle, shall not import an avian product, from that part of the territory of Israel described in part B of the Annex to Commission Decision 2006/266/EC or cause or permit another person to import an avian product from that part of the territory of Israel described in part B of the Annex to the Commission Decision nor shall have in his or her possession or under his or her control an avian product that has been imported in contravention of this Order. This does not apply to fresh meat of poultry, ratites, farmed and wild feathered game, minced meat, mechanically separated meat, meat preparations and meat products consisting of or containing meat derived from an aforementioned species, raw pet food and unprocessed feed material containing any parts of an aforementioned species, which has been obtained from birds slaughtered or hunted before a specified date and accompanied by a health certificate and does not apply to the import of a meat product consisting of or products containing meat of poultry, ratites, farmed and wild feathered game when the consignment has undergone at least one of the heat treatments specified in Annex B.
