Abstract
These Regulations place restrictions on the importation of pigs, pig products, including meat and pig semen, ovum or embryo from "restricted areas" as defined by Commission Decision 2006/805/EC concerning animal health control measures relating to classical swine fever in certain Member States. If an authorized officer has reasonable cause to believe that an offence under these Regulations has been committed, he or she may take the enforcement measures as specified by these Regulations.
