European Communities (Control of Animal Remedies and their Residues) Regulations, 2007 (S.I. No 143 of 2007).

These Regulations place restrictions on the manufacture, importation, possession and placing on the market of animal remedies as defined by Community legislation here implemented. These remedies are also used in aquaculture. The Regulations further: provide for testing inspection, exemptions and the keeping of a register of authorized animal remedies by veterinary practitioners and a register of manufactured remedies by producers; place restriction on the movement of certain animals; and provide for the marking or destruction of certain animals.
