European Communities (Control on Imports of Animal Products from China) Regulations 2002 (S.I. No. 141 of 2002).

This Order gives effect to Commission Decision No. 2002/69/EC of 30 January 2002 concerning certain protective measures with regard to the products of animal origin imported from China. . A person, including the master or person in charge of a vessel or aircraft, shall not import an animal product as defined in regulation 2 product from China or cause or permit another person to import an animal product from China and shall not have in his or her possession or under his or her control an avian product that has been imported in contravention the above rule.
