European Communities (Feedingstuffs) (Tolerances of Undesirable Substances and Products) (Amendment) Regulations, 2002 (S.I. No. 363 of 2002).

These Regulations amend the European Communities (Feedingstuffs) (Tolerances of Undesirable Substances and Products) Regulations, 1998, in order to give effect to Council Directive 2001/102/EC which lays down maximum permitted levels for dioxins in feedingstuffs. As a consequence, regulation 2 of the Regulations of 1998 is hereby amended by the substitution, for the definition of “the Directive”, of the definition set out in the First Schedule to these Regulations, and Schedule I and II are amended so as to add “dioxin”.
