European Communities (Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading) (Amendment) Regulations 2010 (S.I. No. 161 of 2010).

These Regulations amend the European Communities (Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading) Regulations 2004 so as to give partial effect in Ireland to the revised EU Emissions Trading Scheme. They provide for the collection by the Environment Protection Agency of duly substantiated and verified emissions data from installations that will only be covered by the Scheme. The Agency shall submit to the European Commission of a national list of installations covered by EU Directive 2009/29/EC. Other amendments of the principal Regulations concern enforcement and compliance.
