European Communities (Protection measures in relation to highly pathogenic avian influenza of subtype H5N1 in wild birds) (No. 3) Regulations 2006 (S.I. No. 698 of 2006).

These Regulations amend the European Communities (Protection measures in relation to highly pathogenic avian influenza of subtype H5N1 in wild birds) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2006 in regulation 10 with respect to powers of authorized officers. A new paragraph authorizes a member of the Garda Siochana or an officer of Customs and Excise to exercise, for the purposes of these Regulations, any of the powers conferred on an authorized officer under section 17A of the Diseases of Animals Act or these Regulations.
