Abstract
The Regulations, by amending provisions in the existing Regulations on the marketing of fodder plant seed: (a) extend the scope of these provisions to include some new species; (b) align some of the botanical names used with those now normally accepted internationally; (c) introduce the current international tolerance of five percent on the maximum weight of seed lots; (d) improve the rules for the maximum permissible content of bitter lupin seeds in the light of the development of seed quality normally achieved; and (e) prescribe a revised scale of fees for the testing and certification of fodder plant seed.
