These Regulations provide ancillary and supplementary measures necessary for a series of EC Regulations relating to transmissible spongiform encephalopathies and animal by-products to have full effect.
They regulate the placing on the market of certain products including organic fertilizer. Other provisions concern, among other things, the testing and handling of animals and animal by-products.
