Abstract
These Regulations amend sections 40, 41 and 44-47 of the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1997 and give further effect to Articles 6(5) and 6(7) of Directive 2011/92/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council, as amended by Directive 2014/52/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council. The amended provisions of the Act concern appeals against decisions of Minister on aquaculture licence applications (procedures foe the making of appeals, submissions or observations relevant to appeal).
