Abstract
These Regulations concern placing on the market a product mentioned in Article 2 of the Directive (EU) 2015/2203 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to caseins and caseinates intended for human consumption. A person shall not place on the market a product mentioned in Article 2 of the Directive other than in accordance with Article 3 of the Directive and unless it is labelled in accordance with Article 4 of the Directive. These Regulations also provide with respect to appointment and functions of authorised officers, compliance and offences.

The European Communities (Caseins and Caseinates) Regulations 1985 (S.I. No. 248 of 1985), and the European Communities (Caseins and Caseinates) (Methods of Sampling and Analysis) Regulation 1987 are revoked.
