Abstract
These Regulations prescribe quality standards to be applied and related supervision and enforcement procedures in relation to supplies of drinking water, including requirements as to sampling frequency, methods of analysis, the provision of information to consumers and related matters. They require a water supplier to ensure that the water is wholesome and clean (as defined by these Regulations) and meets the requirements of these Regulations. Irish Water shall monitor the public water supply with the parametric values specified in Part 1 of the Schedule. The Environmental Protection Agency shall monitor compliance with these values.
