European Union (Good Agricultural Practice for Protection of Waters) (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations 2020 (S.I. No. 529/2020).

These Regulations amend the European Union (Good Agricultural Practice for Protection of Waters) Regulations 2017. The purpose of the amendment is to give effect to recent developments in scientific knowledge, provide clarity in the interpretations and provide greater protection for water quality from agricultural activities. The amendments also give effect to some of the recommendations from the review of the Nitrates Derogation requirements in 2019.
