Abstract
These Regulations provide for the transposition of Commission Regulation (EC) No. 617/2008 and Regulation (EU) No. 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council. Provisions concern: definitions, designations and sales descriptions; registration of establishments; marking of eggs for hatching and their packaging; marking of packs containing chicks; documents and records; use of eggs removed from incubator; inspection agents and authorised officers; compliance notice and appeal; penalties; etc.
