European Union (Paints, Varnishes, Vehicle Refinishing Products and Activities) (Amendment) Regulations 2014 (S.I. No. 398 of 2014).

These Regulations amend the European Union (Paints, Varnishes, Vehicle Refinishing Products and Activities) Regulations 2012. They place restrictions, with exceptions, on the sale or placing on the market of a product identified in Schedule 1 where the volatile organic compound content for the said product exceeds the relevant limit value specified in Schedule 2. They also insert a new Schedule on a certificate of authorisation, which shall allow a person or body to legitimately supply or sell those products specified by the certificate.
