Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1976.

The Fisheries (Consolidation) Act, 1959 is hereby amended by: (a) the addition to section 68 of the following subsection: "(7) Where an order under this section is proposed to be made, the Minister shall cause a draft of the order to be laid before each House of the Oireachtas and the order shall not be made until a resolution approving of the draft has been passed by each such House."; and (b) the addition to section 279 of the following subsection: "(4) Where an order under this section is proposed to be made, the Minister shall cause a draft of the order to be laid before each House of the Oireachtas and the order shall not be made until a resolution approving of the draft has been passed by each such House." Pursuant to section 68 the Minister may, from time to time, by order alter the ordinary licence duty in respect of a salmon rod ordinary licence Section 279 concerns the power of the Minister to alter, by Order, the licence duty in respect of an oyster fishing licence.
