Abstract
This Act inserts a new part on aquaculture in the Foyle Fisheries Act, 1952 and makes various other amendments to that Act in relation with, among other things: non-commercial fishing, fishing licences, prohibition of unlicensed fishing, close seasons and fishing gear. The Act also makes a minor amendment to the Fisheries (Amendment) Act 1997 and an amendment to the Foreshore Act 1933 in relation with the licensing of aquaculture activities on the foreshore.
