Herring Fishing (Minimum Size) Order, 1976.

This Order implements a recommendation by the North East Atlantic Fisheries Commission prohibiting fishing for herring of less than 20 centimetres in length in International Council for the Exploration of the Sea Statistical Area VI subject to a tolerance of 10 percent by weight of such undersized herring in each landing from the waters in that area.
