Registration of Deeds (No. 2) Rules, 2009 (S.I. No. 457 of 2009).

These Rules amend the Registration of Deeds Rules 2008 so as to provide for the registration of judgment mortgages pursuant to section 116 of the Land and Conveyancing Law Reform Act 2006. It prescribes forms for application for registration of a discharge or release or partial discharge or partial release of a mortgage and the application for registration of a receipt on a mortgage. Application for registration of satisfaction of judgment mortgage shall be made in Form 1 or 1A, as appropriate, accompanied by an affidavit or certificate of satisfaction or a discharge or release by the judgment creditor or his personal representative and the prescribed fee.
