Abstract
Subsection (1) of section 18 of the Sea Fisheries Act, 1952 is amended so as to increase the limit of advances which may be made to the Board. This subsection now reads as follows: " For the purposes of enabling the Board to exercise or perform their functions, the Minister of Finance may, on recommendation of the Minister, advance from time to time to the Board, out of the Central Fund or the growing produce thereof, such sums (subject to the limitation that the total amount (disregarding interest) standing repayable in respect of them shall at no time exceed 40.000.000 pounds) as the Board may from time to time request".
