Urban Waste Water Treatment (Amendment) Regulations, 2010 (S.I. No. 48 of 2010).

These Regulations amend the Urban Waste Water Treatment Regulations, 2001 by designating ten additional areas as sensitive areas for the purposes of Article 5 of Council Directive 91/271/EEC of the European Council concerning urban waste water treatment and by making some minor technical amendments. Regulation 4 is amended by inserting a provision requiring the Environmental Protection Agency to determine which parameter or parameters shall apply for the purpose of Part 2 of the Second Schedule and to take this into account when authorising a waste water discharge for the purpose of the Waste Water Discharge (Authorisation) Regulations 2007.
