Abstract
These Regulations specify certain matters to be addressed in a waste management plan made under section 22 of the Waste Management Act, 1996 and the manner in which certain matters shall be set out and addressed in a plan. They also provide that a copy of a proposed waste management plan or a proposed variation of a plans shall be submitted to specified bodies. It is prescribed that, insofar as the Schedule to these Regulations specifies matters further to those specified in section 22 (7) (a) to (i) of the Act, a plan shall include information on or otherwise have regard to such matters. A local authority shall comply with the provisions of the Schedule to these Regulations as to the manner in which matters shall be set out and addressed in a plan.
