Abstract
This Order, composed of 9 sections, establishes conditions for protection of bees in Israel. Section 1 gives definitions. Section 2 provides for the appointing of inspectors for the needs of this order. Section 3 deals with procedures regarding bees infected by the “bacillus larvae” disease. Section 4 provides for inspector powers. Section 5 prohibits the passing or selling of infected beehives or/and equipment. Section 6 establishes importation conditions bees, bee-queens, beehives and apiculture equipment. Section 7 prohibits the production or/and importation of bee-wax unless according to this order. Section 8 provides for penalties. Section 9 establishes regulations to be set by the Minister of Agriculture.
