Abstract
This Regulation, of 16 Sections, establishes conditions for the appointing of Fruit Board members. Section (1) sets the number of government delegates to Three. Section (2) provides for the ministers in charge to request nominees’ lists for board membership to Representative Growers’ Organizations. Section (3) gives a definition for a Representative Growers’ Organization. Section (4) permits the ministers in charge to consider a group of growers as a Representative Growers’ Organization. Section (5) provides for any growers’ organization to send its nominee’s list to the ministers in charge even if not invited to do so by the ministers. Sections (6), (7) and (9) provide for listing procedures. Section (8) deals with the public representatives appointing procedures. Section (10) the ministers in charge shall appoint one or two board members that represent, to their opinion, the consumers. Section (11) provides for the appointing of World Zionistic Organization delegates. Section (12) lists conditions for revoking a board member appointment. Section (13) provides for procedures regarding the substitution of a board member. Section (14) deals with the revoking of a government delegate membership. Section (15) and (16) give general information.
